Amish Brunch following Worship.  Everyone is welcome.   A Free-Will Donation is appreciated.

 

 

 

Year In & Year Out our Turn is the FIRST Sunday of the month for Donations to the Petrolia Food Bank.  Dry goods are taken once a month to the Petrolia Food Bank.  Cash /cheque donations can be made on the third line of your Offering Envelope as well as donations to the Inn of the Good Shepherd, Memorial Donations or for the Capital Projects these items will be receipted on your Income Tax Receipt at the end of the year.  Please make out your Cheque to St. Paul’s and mark your preference on line 3 of Offering Envelope..

 

Anyone requiring Offering Envelopes please contact Bonnie Elliott in the Church Office.  (519-882-1390) We can also help with Membership Transfers.   Just a reminder for ALL parents– ALL Sunday School Children are required to fill out a yearly registration form –  Please pick one up from your Child’s Sunday School Teacher.

St. Paul’s 2010 Trivia

 Coming Saturday, March 27

7 pm is Social Time & 7:30 pm Start of Competition

Cost $20 per person & teams to be made up of 4-6 people.  Money is going to General Funds

There will be a Loonie Table –cost $1 per square per items

An evening of good fellowship & refreshments

We are Looking for APPLE RECEIPES

In the fall we sell apples and this year we are hoping to be able to add a Book of Apple Recipes.  If you are interested in submitting your favourite Apple Recipe to the Finance Committee we would be very happy.  You may submit a handwritten or typed recipe to the Church Office or email your submission to Stacey Williams at timwill@xcelco.on.ca

It’s an Amish sit down meal…sounds so gooood…

This Amish Meal is served Family style (meaning that once a table is seated your food will be brought to you!)

Menu will consist of assorted pickles & relishes & breads, sausages, chicken, ham loaf, mashed potatoes, egg noodles, corn & green beans, Coffee, Tea & Lemonade and dessert will be assorted pies & a special cake & ice cream.

Mmmmmmmm..doesn’t that just make your waist expand…..

There will be a sign up sheet in the CE Centre if you wish to donate any food items listed or speak to Ruth Syer or

 Becky MacRobbie.

 

Hey Folks ~ We the Church are going to be participating in The Petrolia Town Wide Garage Sales the last Saturday of April.  So if you would like to help us out with blessings us with your treasurers – we will truly be appreciative of them.  One BIG drawback is that we don’t have storage room so please just keep them for us till the week before   Many Thanks

Point Edward United Church will be hosting a St Patricks Tea on

Tuesday, March 9 from 9 - 11 a.m.

There will be refreshments, knitting and our famous bake table!  Gently used items will also be for sale.   All are welcome!

 

St. Luke’s United Church is having a ham dinner on

Wed. March 10/10 from 5-7pm. The price is $12.00. It includes ham, scalloped potatoes, vegetable, dessert, and beverage.
